I’ve got state farm insurance and they’re great. Highly recommend staying away from nationwide I ended up having to use them because of my lack of driving experience most wanted 3 years here in VA driving experience. But after an accident that was not my fault they dissapeared on their end leaving me with a lot of bills I had to pay.
In my experience, I found that AIG or Infinity insurance have the lowest rates. I’m an independent broker and I sell alot of different brands, but AIG and Infinity always come out the cheapest in California. Mercury is pretty reasonable too.
Remember, when you buy insurance, you’re buying a promise. Go with a reputable company with a local agent. When it’s time for the company to deliver the promise, you want someone you can trust, and look in the eye.
I’ve been with 21st Century for several years and have been pleased with my premiums (value) and service. They offer many different discounts and I really like the extras that they include; like new car replacement (first 12 months), 24/7/365 Roadside Assistance, No Charge towing and labor, coverage up to 100 miles into Mexico, full coverage for any licensed driver, Waive deductible if both parties are with 21st. Century, etc. And their web-site has some cool tools and information. Don’t get me wrong, I dislike insurance companies as much as the next guy, but in fairness, they do offer good coverage, value, and service.
