Why Are Caravans Nearly Always Painted White?

Posted on 13 April 2009

Not that I think I would prefer them any more but why doesn't any manufacturer offer a choice of colour? Or maybe they do but everyone chooses white....!

White has been scientifically tested to be the most contrasting colour to green, which we all know is the colour of grass.
This helps the local police easily spot a group of pikey’s trespassing on some poor farmers field.
Also the general public can easily see the group of caravans from a great distance and know to avoid that field.

Well the real reason is so as the various breeds of birds sheckt will not be as noticeable when they get bombarded whilst touring, seagulls with the scutters must be about the worst offenders eh? by the way that’s why I like a white car.
