I am planning to give a friend of mine a GPS but the problem is that he lives in mexico, can someone tell me if it will work in Mexico or i should better give him a digital camera?
Most of the street-map GPS units sold in the US don’t come loaded with Mexican maps. If that’s what you want to do, make sure you buy one that can have additional maps loaded onto it via computer (usually through a USB cable). You’ll have to pay extra for the Mexico maps, and I don’t know how complete they are, but you can get them.
Garmin has units that can be upgraded, and you can get CDs for Mexico to load by computer — see the link below.
