My parents are going out of town for a camping trip and are planning on towing a camper (approx. 2800 lbs.). Their only towing vehicle (1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager) was totalled in a accident on Sunday morning and so my boyfriend offered his ‘04 Xterra for them to drive. He is concerned, though, about the weight of the camper. He towed a “medium-sized Uhaul” when he moved about 2 years ago and said it almost ruined his power steering. We looked up towing capacity and it should be safe but I would like to know for sure. Thanks!

I had the dealership check it. They said it was a valve that was leaking air. But the light still goes on and off daily. It also jerks or “hiccups” as I drive, when I do 10 to 30 mph. Any advice? I checked the fluids, they’re fine.

When my tank gets down to a quarter it will die like it’s completely run out of gas. Now when the tank is full it will start sputtering while I am driving 55 mph.
The check engine light is on with a code reading of P0456. This indicates that there is an EVAP leak somewhere. What is the most likely cause of this problem and how can it be fixed?

The display doesn’t totally disappear but it fades and flickers.

How do I get a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan to display it’s own self diagnostic fault code (check engine light came on today). I’ve already tried switching the ignition from ACC to ON multiple times. Does anyone know the sequence for this vehicle?
