I am looking to get a deal for the week Sept22 – however the prices are still pretty steep. Am getting a bit concerned. I got a deal to Cyprus in early june, two week before, for less than £150 per person?
Does anyone know if there is a particular reason they are so expensive? I thought as it was the end of the season and kids were back at school it would have been cheap?

I am setting up a camping trip, but I’m not a fan of campgrounds, RV parks, etc. I recently moved to the Houston area from Arizona, where you could camp anywhere on the state lands unless specifically stated otherwise (Such as private property, military property, etc). I’m hoping to get some information about similiar stuff here, campfire restrictions, location restrictions, etc. Any help would be appreciated!

are the covers that you can cover a caravan with during the winter months worth having ,or are they more trouble than they are worth? do they really protect them against that green muck that gets on them or is it best to leave the van open to the elements

Me and my boyfriend are going camping for the first time and don’t really know what to bring. We’re going this Friday and Saturday and time is ticking away. I’ve already purchased sleeping bags and flashlights. I need to know what else to bring so I can come up with a list for him to follow.

I have only gone camping twice in the last ten years, but am planning a 10 day trip to Arcadia in August.
What things have you forgotten or not thought of bringing to camping trips in the past?
Myself and 12 year old girl and 10 year old boy.
