I live in a flat and would love to get a cat – is it fair on the cat? I also own a caravan so it would be going down there most weekends.

What is a good name for my cats that also expresses my love for the outdoors yet still describes them.
He is a black and brown Tabby She is an orange and white Tabby.
Some outdoor things I like are camping and fishing(for trout and salmon)
The male is very shy and she is always beating him up too.(in a fun way)
Hi there,
we’re moving 5 miles down the country road with our 3 yr old indoor/outdoor Sheba (and she is every bit a Queen). We do have a large carrier we will transport her in. I’ve read where we should let her explore the new house for a few weeks before letting her venture out. but what’s this about putting butter on her paws to find her way home. any validity to this or is sprinkling a little of her cat litter in the yard a more appropriate approach? my 15 yr old daughter would be totally distraught if Sheba ran away (nobody else will let her dress them in baby clothes).
thx bunches 4 yr response

I am looking for a small GPS tracking device for my cat who spends a lot of time outdoors. Do you know of any designed specifically for cats and where I can purchaset it?
In a nutshell, here is the dilemma. 3 years ago I remarried. I had 2 cats (4 and 1.5 yrs n. males)and 2 dogs. My husband had a cat (2 yrs n.male). 6 mo later his cat moved in. His started terrorizing my youngest immediately. The other he leaves alone. He hunted him down if he went upstairs, chased him from food and litterbox , you name it. Mine learned to eat when I was in the room, use the litterbox when someone was there, and about 6 mo ago, started standing his ground. Not really fighting, but no longer running. Mine had a few out-of -litterbox incidences, but that stopped. Now, his cat has started urinating on clothing and such, and even jumped on the couch (leather) and sprayed it in front of me. His is indoor-outdoor, one of mine (not involved with the feud) is too, the other doesn’t like going out at all. I am at my wits end, and my hubby is rather blind to his cats problem. I really need some input on what to do . I am a vet tech, but am at an impass on this one. Thanks
They are both male. Both are indoor/outdoor cats and we also have a litter box that they use. One cat is fixed and the other is not but they both do it.
I have 4 cats, one live outside all her life, the rest I brought in from outside. All the sudden, everyone wants out. Open the door and they are gone. When I lock them in, they go to the bathroom on beds, in clothes, where ever. Now they are outside most of the time, except at night when I lock them in a pet cage. The problem is that I worry all the time about them. When I have to work I worry that they are smashed in the road, but if I bring them in, the house is a mess in hours. What would you suggest?
I sneeze bad and get stuffed up around 1 cat, and sneeze bad,and wake up with a sore throat everyday. I always wake up coughing too. Im looking for some natural relief. I don’t like taking meds. When I clean, vaccuum dust, and wash clothes, I start sneezing and coughing, and my eyes get watery. I’ve been suffering for the last week straight now.I only feel better in the warm moist air of the shower. I sneeze all night and my eyes water so bad that they are stuck together when I wake up. My eyes are burning all the time lately. This happens when it’s dry and windy weather, and in the dry air from the furnace. I looking for any suggestions. Benedryl on brings temporary relief.
