Me and my friends would like to go camping in cornwall for a few days in the summer but one of us will be under 16. Will that matter? does anyone know of any sites where we could stay? thanks
I loved the campsite at Treen http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/detail… … it’s on top of the cliffs right next to the coastal path (lovely walks along the coastal path in that area) … unfortunately they don’t do advance bookings and they have to give preference to walkers of the coastal path, so if you want to stay there you’d need to plan to get there in the morning and hope they have space … it’s a short walk out to the Logan Rock, you can walk along the coastal path to Porthcurno where there’s a theatre carved out of the cliffs, a lovely beach, and a telegraphy museum … and there’s a great pub in Treen that does lovely meals
while we were there one year i remember visiting a cave or a cavern…you walked down some steps into it and there was water falling down each side and like a path through the middle that you walked along. under the water there were slate slabs that im sure we were told were the graves of the knights of the round table(although i may be mistaken)
can anybody tell me where this is and what it is called?
i want to go camping in cornwall, proper camping with a tent, a fire some fishing away from anyone else. somewere like a forest/woodland. does anyone know were i can go and if i need any permits

I was recently advised to try St Ives bay Caravan & Camping Site, it looks great is pretty reasonably priced. We’ve not been yet but we are thinking of going in Sept. Also we went to Hendre Holiday park in Newquay great entertainment, great all round site not really sure of the tariff – but worth checking out both web site and get a brochure!
we are looking for a holiday in cornwal does anyone know the best vaule of money site in St ives.
We have young children.
me and my boyfriend want to go camping in a few weeks in Cornwall, preferebly somewhere close to The Lizard, or Kynance cove.
I was wondering if there are any rules about setting up your tent anywhere or whether it is absolutely neccesary to use a designated campsite.. thanks
I’m going down to Wadebridge on August bank holiday and want to find a nice peaceful campsite where I can park the camper van. Ideally it would be walking distance from the town as I plan to do a bit of drinking. Have tried tourist info, any ideas?
