For me, from my experiences going hiking and wilderness camping in the Sierra Mountains on the California/Nevada border, it takes a day or sometimes more for me to adjust.
Anything over 5000 ft. or so, and my joints ache, I’m out of breath, my fingers and toes get puffy, and when sleeping I have vivid and unpleasant dreams.
However, after I adjust, the symptoms go away completely – almost always within 48 hours.
Does anyone else have experience with this? How long does it take you to adjust?

I passed at MEPS, barely, and I am wondering: are they a bit more lenient at boot camp, or will I still have to be at 140/90 or less? I won’t get discharged if I’m just a bit too high will I? I am hoping they are just going to be looking for people with real hypertension–not just white coat anxiety like me…

Well next week my highschool friends start band camp and I feel really sad right now because I won’t be there anymore. I know I can go visit but it won’t be the same I will miss marching on the blackop. It hurts right now. Will the pain go away?

What will I go through and in what order. Anything from tests I have to take, boot camp, training, anything that I’ll have to do and when I’ll do it.
Note: I will be attending Airborne School and Ranger School. Also include that.

My friends and I went on a camping trip in the woods and I used this cream on my face that must have attracted bugs to it and I have 11 big bumps on my face now! That’s right 11! And my first day of high school starts tomorrow and I got them yesterday. Should I go to the doctor? Can I? Will he give me something? I’m not itching them. Please help me!

We’re brainstorming ideas, and we’d like for the movie to relate to music in some sort of way. We can only show G or PG because of policy. A PG-13 might be possible, depending on why it was given that rating.
Our ideas so far are August Rush and Mr. Holland’s Opus. One person suggested Amadeus, but that’s rated R. It seems like everyone watches MHO some time during high school band, so we’d rather not use that one.

I’m looking for a camp that videotapes them and has great coaches.

I am interested in neuroscience and I would like to get some experience before college. I live in Ohio and would be willing to travel up to 20 hours by car to attend a program. I don’t want anything longer than about 4 weeks. Any info would be appreciated.
