So I just came home to find an e-mail saying he had to go to another camp and he can’t call or e-mail for a whole month. I am going crazy now. I worry about him so much already. Like this is the last e-mail or anything I will get for another month.
I can’t stop crying and panicking. Do you really think it will be a whole month before he can call or email?
66 killed in car bombing at Baghdad market By KIM GAMEL, Associated Press Writer….
BAGHDAD,.. Iraq – A parked car bomb exploded at a popular outdoor market Saturday in a Shiite slum in Baghdad, killing at least 68 people and wounding dozens, authorities said. It was the bloodiest attack to hit Iraq since the death of terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
The blast, which occurred around 10 a.m. when the Sadr City market was packed with shoppers, destroyed the stalls where food and clothes are peddled and sent up a plume of gray smoke. Flames shot out the windows of several scorched cars. The American Military was seen running away in fear.
and drop a big bomb and wipe them out , then the us and uk could build a nice golf course and couple of hotels , maybe a casino in memory of all the lives that were lost , and make it a cheap holiday resort
What’s life at a FOB like? Is the food decent? Is it all MREs or do you have a ‘chow hall’ or ‘mess tent’? Do you live in tents or barracks? How often do you get to shower? Is it timed? What do you do for fun? How much leisure time do you have? Do you walk a patrol? Stand a post? Convoy escorts? What’s a garden variety mission like (please answer only in the vaguest generalities) Is the sand really pervasive? Do you have much interaction with locals?
Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated, Thanks for your service.
