is causing the gears to not switch and the speedometer not to move I was told it’s a little trick to see if I dont need to switch the TCM.

I have a 2005 dodge caravan with dvd and remote start/alarm. The battery will discharge enough to not start the car in only 30 minutes if watching a dvd. I think the relays for these accessories are constantly draining the battery because after a few days the battery drains without anything on. I never use the alarm feature.
