My boyfriend left a few days ago for boot camp. I didn’t expect this to be so hard. I want to be strong for him and support him all the way through this. I was fine untill he said goodbye then the flood gates opened and the tears started flowing, once he saw me crying he totaly broke down aswell. Dose this get easier? He’s been gone for a few days now and I still can’t stop crying. Any advice?

For former marines, when can you say things started to get real for you ? Was during, before, or after boot camp ? When do they start making you fill out all the paper work and do they make you work out after filling it all out ? Just curious of the opinions of others when it started feeling serious ?

What was the cruelty that was given on Jews and other people who were sent to this camp?

I’m packing for camp right now and have some things (bubbles, cards, books, etc.) and I thought that maybe I’d find some more things that I could bring to entertain me and my friends or just something that you might enjoy doing at sleep away camp. Thanks!

It’s not like a stay all week thing. But, it’s going to be so hot. Half of the day is out and half is in. Anything that will help the day go smoother and make me more comfortable. Also, what’s the best kind of stuff to wear?
