When I went to visit my cousins in London 2 summers ago, I picked up a phone catalogue. Those phones all had 5mp or better cameras, better MP3 players, and much better interfaces. The phones are just an example, but why are they so much ahead of us? Furthermore, I expect Japan is another 5 years ahead of them. If Samsung, for example, is a global corporation, why don’t they sell their good stuff to us. Also I’m aware foreign phones aren’t compatable with some service in the US, but most carriers have moved away from that.

Like if I wanted to go camping for a week with my girlfriend. Must be able to drive a two-wheel drive car there, but walking in ten miiles or so is acceptable. I would use a USGS map.

I will be beginning a 2 month road trip next week. I plan on hitting South and North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee. Any ideas for websites to view good places to camp? Actually I am putting all my stuff into storage so if I find a real nice place to live, I can do that too!
