Me and a small group of friends want to camp in England or Wales, in tents, somewhere secluded and outdoors, so more of a forest, field, lake or river, rather than an over crowded caravan/ camp site.
Do you have any great suggestions, where to go, or where to start looking?
im going on holiday with 3 other friends, we’re looking for a nice cheapish holiday preferebly a caravan site with everything, pubs/clubs nearby etc
anyone know of anywhere?
in terms of natural beauty, mountains…..
me and a couple of friends want to go camping over the holidays coming up. But not to a camp sit. We want to just go out to the woods at set up camp, we want an adventure. anyone know of a secluded place, or should we just walk out and do it any where.
O and is there any laws we need to look out for if we do it?
If you are in the Caravan Club then use the site at Pembrey. Stayed there a few years ago and really enjoyed it. It’s in a terrific location…http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/CaravanClub…
Keswick, down by Derwent Water…..I’m going next week:)
im from wales and someone asked a question on here and nearly all the answers were the same “because they are a very poor country”
my boyfriend is from birmingham and he admitted to me before he met me he pictured everyone living in caravans with no tv’s!!!!!
I would avoid campsites right next to rivers, ponds and beaches to be honest – we went camping when our children were 2 and 4 and ended up near this river and I hardly slept, worrying that one of them would get out of bed and wander off.
Farm sites might be a good idea – sometimes they will let the children watch the cows being milked and things like that. I stayed on some lovely sites around the Lleyn Penninsular when I was younger, which weren’t right next to water sources and I think that’d be better for small children. http://www.thehappycampers.co.uk
try this website for starters – many of the sites have been recommended by other people
